We can begin to develop more and more confidence about making things, and eventually stop comparing what we come up with ourselves to the store bought, Made In China versions.

Even something like giving handmade candles as holiday gifts can be more important than simply a cute thing to do a la Martha Stewart.

Here’s an easy thing to start with: Beeswax candles. They are said to improve the air quality, making them great for asthma sufferers.
