MI: Homeowner Shoots two Home Invasion Suspects

A homeowner shot two suspects Tuesday afternoon as they allegedly attempted to break into a home on the city’s west side, police said.
The 1:35 p.m. incident happened in the 5400 block of West Outer Drive.
The homeowner fired two shots striking the two male suspects, Detroit Police Officer Dan Donakowski said. He said one of the shot suspects stayed at the scene while the other fled on foot.
