Just because he is always pimping slingshots and improvised weapons doesn’t mean that everyone’s favorite nutty Bavarian Joerg Sprave doesn’t have any guns.
In fact, Sprave is one of the more than one million Germans who (legally) owns modern firearms. He is candid with his collection and has 34 of them carried on 5 licenses.

Spoiler alert: no carry licenses. Well, not absolutely no like in Hawaii or San Fransisco, but no enough anyway.
