One of the more interesting variants of the classic 10/22 is the Charger pistol, and Hickok45 gives you the low down on this chopped down rimfire.
The chunky 3.5-pound .22LR pistol has all the benefits of the standard 10/22 action but with a 10-inch barrel is much more compact. Paired with an optic and bipod they are much-loved and much-customized. Although Sturm, Ruger and the gang only made these from 2008-2012, the almost cult following the Charger gained led to their resurrection in late 2014.
And Hick seems to be able to clock in and do work with the oversized pistol.
