CME Hits Earth Sparking Geomagnetic Storm Heart-Shaped Sunspot Morphed Three Times Wider Than Earth (Video) Major Heads Up

The G1 (Minor) geomagnetic storm warning has been extended and is now valid until 14/2100 UTC (14/1700 ET). Conditions remain favorable due to effects from a transient enhancement (due to an expected glancing blow impact of a coronal mass ejection from 10 April) and waning coronal hole high speed stream (CH HSS) effects. http://www.swpc.noaa.gov/
The giant sunspot has morphed into a heart more than three times wider than Earth.The dark heart of this sunspot is made of magnetism, a tangle of magnetic fields that blocks the upward flow of heat from the sun’s interior. That’s why it is dark, because it is cool compared to its fiery surroundings.
NOAA forecasters say there is a 10% chance of M-class solar flares from AR2529 on April 14th. If such a flare does occur, it will be geoeffective. The sunspot is directly facing Earth. http://spaceweather.com/
