The laws of physics seem to disappear when we view images of the sun and moon high above the clouds in the atmosphere. The rays of light don’t seem to behave in a way that suggests that these heavenly bodies are thousands or millions of miles away. They seem to “spotlight” the clouds beneath them. To my knowledge, the image of the moon above the clouds has not been considered yet, or compared to the lighting effect of the sun above the clouds. As you can see, the two heavenly bodies project similar spotlights above the clouds, even though we are told they are seperated by millions of miles!
