(Before It's News)

The New York City subway system is used for 5.6 million rides on the average weekday. Sometimes you want to camouflage yourself as just crazy enough to be left alone.

That’s a tactic explored by comedian Scott Rogowsky who compiled a clip of him “reading” some of the most absurd faux books imaginable. These include How to Hold a Fart In, Human Taxidermy: A beginner’s guide, How to Score an Asian Girlfriend on the L Train, and our fave: Mein Kampf For Children (with a forward by Roald Dahl*).

At least they aren’t gun books– that would really cause a stir among the Gotham crowd.

*As a side note, Dahl, best known for his dark children’s’ books including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Fantastic Mr. Fox, and James and the Giant Peach, was an RAF fighter ace who once had to drag himself out of burning wreckage in North Africa during World War II.

Dahl would probably be engrossed in a book too while a guest on a MTA ride once he found out that the average NYC subway car goes 155,382 miles between repairs.
