As part of their ever-evolving research on just how “bulletproof” items commonly referred to as such actually are, Taofledermaus riddled some Level III ballistic glass.
They went to town on the over one-inch thick sheet with .22LR, 9mm, .40S&W, .45ACP, and some spicy 10mm Auto, then went 5.56mm– all of which were stopped.
Next came some .308 and 12 gauge slugs which, when you keep in mind the glass was nothing but one spiderweb after another by that point, were almost a forgone conclusion. Still, the sheet was only rated for .44 Mag anyway, so there’s that.
