To all Patriots:

We were over to see Susy yesterday and I am deeply concerned about her health…she is not getting enough liquids…maybe 8 ounces a day. She is having dizzy spells, vertigo, and diarrhea.  I have just placed a call into the commissary officer because NONE OF THE MONEY WE HAVE PUT IN HER ACCOUNT IS THERE…waiting for a call back.  WE have spent all the donation money and I have receipts for all of it.  We bought food for them yesterday, got Nick his clothes for camp, left Susy money. I will be going to the food banks in San Antonio to get food for them. The one thing we need now is to cover another month of electric and cell phone. I also have to put money in Nick’s account for camp for him to use during the week he is there.  His camp is already been paid for by Susy and all arrangements were already made.  John and I will be taking him there on July 3rd.  I don’t know how we are going to keep NIck and Marie going until Susy gets out.  I am frightened that she will be sentenced and then we have a huge problem of supporting them.  Her friend is trying to sell some things for her, but haven’t heard back yet. This is a big problem, but for now we need more donations to cover those things I have mentioned.  Paul is staying there to keep child protective services away but he has limited funds too. He is paying to fix the mower and I am sure will help with food.  My concern is that we don’t seem to be able to do anything for Susy.  Paul has filed all kinds of paperwork and nothing has happened.  This is frightening considering now that she is sick.  I will let you know what they say about her account as soon as they call back..

I called the jail again and finally got the Jail Administrator who had an officer go stand with Susy because she had $86.00 in funds that have been withheld from her. Steve gave her $20.00 right after she was arrested, we left $50.00 last Sunday and $20.00 yesterday.  She now has some of the things she needed.  It is my suggestion that EVERYONE bring food to the next meeting. Dog food, cat food, chicken feed, canned goods, bread, boxed or canned milk, anything that does not need refrigeration.  Household items such as liquid laundry detergent, dish soap,  shampoo, conditioner, excedrin pm for Maria, torteias, cilantro, vegetables such as potatoes, onion, sequini, lettuce, tomatoes, fruit, if it doesn’t need immediate refrigeration, bring it.  Paul is signing up at the food bank in Kerrville and I will be bringing food from San Antonio.  

We have a family in distress and we have to come up with some kind of a plan.  Paul will do his best to take care of everything for now, short term.  Thanks everyone…Sally
