To no one’s surprise, Bernie Sanders has won the West Virginia Democrat primary. Sanders’ victory comes one week after he prevailed over Hillary Clinton in Indiana’s Democrat primary. The New York Times has the latest numbers.

Sanders benefited from Clinton’s haughty dismissal of coal miners when speaking about the coal industry in mining-heavy West Virginia. Clinton was unable to get out of the hole she dug herself during a CNN sponsored town hall in March where she boasted, “We’re going to put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”
