Larry Wilmore said, “You Did It, My Nigga” to President Obama at the end of his White House Correspondents’ Dinner comedy bit for 2016, causing controversy and sparking discussions about the use of the word and questions about whether white people should be allowed to even quote what Larry said.
In this video a white dude walks up to random black people on the beach and asks them if it’s OK for him to say the word nigga with an “a” on the end in a hilarious (and dangerous) social experiment conducted by media analyst Mark Dice in San Diego, California. The video raises some interesting questions about race relations in America and the double standard of white people “not being allowed” to use the “n word.”
