Around 13 times per century, Mercury passes between Earth and the sun in a rare astronomical event known as a planetary transit. The 2016 Mercury transit occurred on May 9, between roughly 7:12 a.m. and 2:42 p.m. EDT.

Via Carol Ann Ciocco: This is a VIDEO that I feel truly captures the essence of the energy of the Mercury Transit. It is mesmerizing and the energy of the Transit seems to leap off of the screen and enter into your consciousness as you watch it. Note that you may feel your Pineal Gland at the center of your brain being stimulated by this footage (more below on this). Here’s the link: http://bit.ly/23Ha8eU

If you were watching the livestream, Mercury appeared to be trudging along slowly, but the above video hints at how fast it was actually moving – it was zooming past the sun at 106,000 mph! Zoom zoom Mercury – watch that little trickster go!
