Nationwide Epidemic Imminent! Has the Ultimate “Superbug” Finally Reached American Shores?
During this past week, a “superbug” has been reported in the State of Pennsylvania — the first time a “superbug” has ever been reported within American shores. Known as the mcr-1, this is the first case where an antibiotic-resistant strain from E-coli has been found within the nation. Such a case is spreading nationwide concern, both in the medical AND government communities.
In fact, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) published a report on this case, and deemed the mcr-1 “antibotic resistant.” Even Dr. Thomas Frieden, CEO of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), has stated: “…the end of the road isn’t very far away for antibiotics — that we may be in a situation where we have patients in our intensive care units, or patients getting urinary-tract infections for which we do not have antibiotics” (See Washington Post Link Below!)
Organizations such as the CDC and World Health Organization (WHO) have already taken steps and measures to “prevent” this case from spreading nationwide, and have already taken the necessary measures to combat such a “superbug threat” from potentially harming others…
