The Collapse Of The U.S.A.?: 13 Catastrophic Incidents Which May Possibly Lead To An American Apocalypse Soon

Apocalyptic-Public-Domain-460x240

Is the strongest and most powerful country on the planet on course for an apocalypse which will take it to its knees? We reside in a world that has become increasingly unstable, and apocalyptic themes have become extremely common in books, movies, television programs and video games.

It is practically as if there is an unconscious knowing on a societal level that something very big and very bad will be upon us soon, even if the vast majority of the population cannot precisely identify what that is going to be.

A week ago, the Global Challenges Foundation released a new report entitled “Global Catastrophic Risks 2016” in which they talked about various apocalyptic events that they consider could wipe out more than 10 % of the population of our planet, and they cautioned that these types of events “are more likely than we intuitively think”…

Sebastian Farquhar, director at the Global Priorities Project, told the Press Association: “There are some things that are on the horizon, things that probably won’t happen in any one year but could happen, which could completely reshape our world and do so in a really devastating and disastrous way.

“History teaches us that many of these things are more likely than we intuitively think. Many of these risks are changing and growing as technologies change and grow and reshape our world. But there are also things we can do about the risks.”

Based on this new report, we are 5 times much more likely to perish from the various apocalyptic catastrophes that they examined than we are from a car crash.

In this report, I would like to talk about some of the most critical threats that they analyzed, along with including some of the obvious to the list. But initially I would like to point out that I do not think that the Global Challenges Foundation is correct to identify climate change as one of the most significant catastrophic threats that humanity is confronting. Our climate has always been changing, and I do think that we will see wild climate shifts in the years ahead. Nevertheless, human activity plays an exceedingly small factor in all of this, and there is not a great deal that we can do to avoid what is going to occur. Most of the climate change that we are going to observe in our future is going to be as a result of other catastrophes in this list, so I have not incorporated it as a separate item.

With that being said, let’s immediately examine some of the possible threats identified by the Global Challenges Foundation…

Supervolcanoes

In a number of locations around the globe, there are gigantic supervolcanoes which could dramatically alter the course of human history in a single moment by erupting. In the United States, the Yellowstone supervolcano has become increasingly active, and a full-blown eruption might potentially be up to 2,000 times more powerful than the eruption of Mount St. Helens back in 1980. As I pointed out a few days ago, major metropolitan locations such as Salt Lake City and Denver would be fundamentally destroyed, food production in this country would be practically wiped out, and a “volcanic winter” would cool global temperatures by up to 20 degrees for up to several years.

Asteroids And Comets

This is something that the Obama administration is essentially quite worried about. During his stint, NASA has set up a “Planetary Defense Coordination Office” that is in charge of tracking giant space rubble, and NASA is working to create a technique to eliminate incoming asteroids using nuclear weapons.

Scientists acknowledge that they only understand a small fraction of the near-Earth objects that are really out there, and we get hit “by surprise” all the time. If we were to get hit at just the right place by a very large object, like say just off the east coast of the United States, the repercussions would almost be too horrible for words.

Currently, 39 % of all Americans live in counties that directly border a shoreline, and most of those folks are along the east coast. Based on the University of California at Santa Cruz website, if a huge asteroid did slam into the Atlantic Ocean, it could likely produce a 400 foot high tsunami that would sweep inland for many, many miles and obliterate millions upon millions of Americans in the process.

Natural Pandemics

The flu pandemic of 1918 killed roughly 50,000,000 people worldwide, and scientists guarantee us that it will materialize again one day.

Indeed, we have come a long way in fighting disease, but as we learned during the recent Ebola outbreak, a truly horrible virus can grip the entire world with fear in a very short period of time.

Engineered Pandemics

This is almost certainly even a bigger threat than natural pandemics, mainly because currently we have the technology to genetically change naturally occurring diseases and make them even stronger.

Whether it is deliberately or by accident, it is only a matter of time before a genetically-modified superbug gets introduced into the general population, and when that day comes it may make all past pandemics look like a Sunday picnic.

Artificial Intelligence

Could someday entities that we have developed turn on us and start eradicating us?

Some may perhaps refer to this as “the Terminator scenario”, and it is becoming more realistic with each passing day as our technological capabilities continue to enhance at an exponential rate.

Geoengineering

The human race currently has the capability to purposely alter the weather, and this implies that we also have the capability to do a tremendous amount of damage.

Have you ever looked up and observed long white trails criss-crossing the sky? This is being done on purpose, and when they spray chemicals into our atmosphere it could have some very severe long-term effects that the authorities may not be looking forward to.

Nuclear War

Back during the Cold War, most Americans would have most likely titled this as the number 1 catastrophic threat facing America, but these days most folks tend to think that “the Cold War” is over.

So nobody has truly objected while the U.S. strategic nuclear arsenal has been diminished by about 95 %, and Barack Obama contends that he would like to lower it even further.

On the other hand, both the Russians and the Chinese are quickly modernizing their nuclear forces, and they both have created hypersonic glide vehicles that can eliminate any missile defense system that the U.S. can put up.

Our relationship with Russia has presently gone down the tubes, and our relationship with China is swiftly deteriorating. The truth is, China just rejected a request for the USS John C. Stennis to make a routine port call at Hong Kong. Most Americans think that a war with either one of them is impossible, but the truth is that we may find ourselves in a war with both of them at the same time inevitably.

The catastrophic threats above were ones that were brought up in the document from the Global Challenges Foundation. Below are some extra pieces that I want to include in the list…

Islamic Terror

It isn’t just ISIS that we have to be worried about. Islamic terror is growing all over the world, and based on Wikipedia there have already been 95 such attacks globally so far in 2016.

Up until today, they have been killing us with guns and bombs, but what arises when they inevitably get their hands on chemical, biological or nuclear armaments?

Terror attacks utilizing weapons of mass destruction could literally turn our society completely upside down virtually overnight, and it is only a matter of time until this begins occurring.

Power Grid Failure

Someday you might wake up and find out that the power grid has totally failed. Just try to envision a world without any lights, cell phones, computers, televisions, ATMs, heating and cooling systems, credit card readers, gas pumps, cash registers, refrigerators or hospital equipment. A massive electromagnetic pulse, either from the sun or as the result of a nuclear blast, could immediately plunge society back into the 1800s.

The EMP Commission spent years studying this, and they advised Congress back in 2008 that up to 90 % of the U.S. population could be dead within one year of such an occurrence due to starvation, disease and the breakdown of society. So this is a threat that folks better start taking seriously.

Cyberwar

World War III will not be conducted like previous wars, and the Internet is one location where we are particularly vulnerable. The Chinese, the Russians and the North Koreans have all been working very hard to create their cyberwarfare capabilities, and I was not long ago informed by sources that has deep connections inside the U.S. Intelligence Community that our power grid might be taken down with just the push of a button. That is how simple it would be.

With each passing year, we are all starting to be more and more dependent on the Internet. So what would our lives be like if it was suddenly eliminated?

That is something to consider.

Economic Collapse

If you wish to observe society melt down right in front of your eyes, just take away all of the treats. On Fusion Laced Illusions I have published more than a few articles about the coming economic issues in this country. We got a very small taste of what is nearing in 2008 and 2009, and yet most folks do not appear to have taken that warning seriously. Ever since then, our long-term economic and financial issues have grown far more dire, and currently the early chapters of a new economic crisis are unfolding right in front of our eyes, and yet still most folks don’t appear to be alarmed.

If you would like to see how devastating an economic collapse can be on a nation, just pick up a history book and begin reading about the Great Depression of the 1930s. Sadly, what we are heading for is going to be a whole lot more serious than that.

Civil Unrest & Martial Law

As the economy collapses and other things on this list begin occurring, folks are going to be completely freaking out. A whole host of polls and surveys have demonstrated that anger and frustration have been building up to unparalleled levels in this country, and at some point there is going to be a huge bang.

Desperate individuals do desperate things, and we got a small preview of what is arriving in Ferguson and in Baltimore. Violent crime rates are already rising in our major cities, and many among the elite are getting out while the getting is good. The truth is, 3,000 millionaires left the city of Chicago last year alone.

Obviously whenever civil unrest erupts, the government reacts by attempting to regain control, and ultimately things are going to get so bad in this nation that we will begin to see martial law enforced in various locations. We observed a little bit of this in Ferguson and in Baltimore, but that was practically nothing in comparison to what we will ultimately encounter.

Catastrophic Earthquakes

A historic earthquake along the New Madrid fault seismic zone, the Cascadia Subduction zone or any of the major faults in California might impact millions of lives, trigger hundreds of billions of dollars in damage, and virtually change the geography of our continent.

Personally, I think that those of us that are blessed enough to live long enough will witness historic earthquakes in all of those locations, and scientists guarantee us that all three zones are way overdue for major seismic occurrences.

Even if just one of the catastrophic events that I have talked about above were to take place, it would totally change society.

Sadly, I think that we are entering an era of history in which a “perfect storm” that includes a confluence of these catastrophic events will shake this nation to the core.

According to a notice from the Creators, in the US East, CA State, in London, in the West of Japan and in Israel will occur right near massive annihilative eathquakes of M9.1. In result, dollar crash and financial, economic collapse occur all over the world. Money will become paper wastes. Earthians must transit to the new society of everything gratuitous services in all areas of social life of Earthians, following the Creators’ orders and planets development low. Otherwise, The US East and CA State, British Islands, the Chinese East-South, Japanese Islands, Israel, Moscow (500m under the city there is the large sea) and S. Peterburg etc. will sink into the sea. EU countries will suffer annihilative blow by the massive tsunami more than 100 m in height because of Blitish Islands’ sinking into the sea.

  • we’ll have to unite under the proposed new global government plan to get through this current crisis

  • These articles kinda tickle me. Here we’re being told the world is coming to an end. The USA as we know it will come to and end. Millions upon millions are going to starve, but the page we read from is inundated with ads. What is it? Buy all the toys so you’ll have more than somebody else when all the bad stuff happens? Come on now!
