16-year-old with revolver arrested
Two nights after a deadly shooting in Boston, officers on patrol found a 16-year-old kid in possession of a loaded revolver.
While on patrol, officers heard the sound of gunfire and quickly rushed to the area to look for possible victims or suspects. The officers called for backup and responding officers soon came in contact with a teen boy who was walking in the area while clutching his waistband.
The teen initially struggled with the officers, who later discovered a loaded Schmidt Ostheim-Rohen .22 caliber revolver in the teen’s waistband.
The suspect was arrested and charged with Unlawful Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of Ammunition and Carrying a Loaded Firearm.
