Ex-’Voice’ contestant, and popular YouTuber with over 3 million subscribers, Christina Grimmie, was shot and killed during a meet and greet with fans Friday night after a concert in Orlando when she was signing autographs and selling merchandise. Her brother tackled the shooter, 27-year old Kevin Loibl, who then killed himself. #PrayForChristina quickly rose to the top trend on Twitter as fans express their shock, sadness, and post their prayers for the young star.
More details on Christina Grimmie‘s murder have been released and the identity of the man who killed the singer was just revealed by the Orlando Police.

The authorities released the 27-year-old man’s name – Kevin James Loibl – and also posted a photo of him on Twitter.
“Man who shot and killed Christina Grimmie @TheRealGrimmie is Kevin James Loibl. DOB 03/10/1989,” the police department tweeted.
Authorities didn’t release the name of the killer at first as they were still trying to investigate the murder and didn’t want anyone to tamper with their search of his electronics or home. Kevin shot Christina after her concert on Friday night (June 10) and he killed himself after he was tackled by the singer’s brother.
