Army engineers pull off very wet change of command ceremony (VIDEO)
The 7th Dive Detachment of the U.S. Army’s 84th Engineer Battalion earlier this month had an official change of command and did so like a boss.
A little known MOS in Big Green, Army divers perform a myriad of missions including river reconnaissance, construction, repair, demolition, salvage, and port security.
With a history that dates back to 1930 and includes picking up 32 campaign streamers for combat in WWII, Korea, Vietnam and three recent deployments to Iraq, the 84th is based at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii and supports military operations across the Pacific.
