Celebrating “Glock Perfection,” the company dedicated an exhibit at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West Museum, in Cody, Wyoming this week.

Set to run at least through the year, the exhibit, Glock Makes History: The Birth of the Polymer Handgun Market, was curated by Ashley Hlebinsky, the Robert W. Woodruff Curator at the Cody Firearms Museum and opened in April.

“While Glock’s history is fairly recent, their impact on the firearms industry is no less significant,” said Hlebinsky. “It’s important for museums to continue to progress history into the future in order to remain relevant for current and future audiences.”

Visitors will have a chance to see rare and embellished Glocks to include a special pistol presented to the museum by master engraver Bertram Edmonston, IV, as well as timelines and prop guns used in movies and television shows.

In association with the event, and their 30th anniversary, Glock released the below 12-minute “Glockdown” that gives a sometimes thrilling dramatization of the Glock’s history including interviews with Gaston himself in a beautiful pink shirt.
