An active shooter situation has just been reported at a Walmart in Amarillo Texas.
The city’s Twitter account has warned civilians to avoid the area. A Potter County Sheriff’s Office dispatch confirmed it is a hostage situation. Early reports indicate there have been injuries. As of this report, no fatalities have been confirmed.
The Walmart is located on I 27 and Georgia.
Amarillo Police have confirmed an active shooter situation.
Police are asking the public to stay away from the area so officers can focus on the scene instead of traffic.
Amarillo Police Department are evacuating people out of the West side of the building. The shooter is believed to have taken hostages.
F B I and Swat are on the scene. It is not clear at this time the identity of the shooter, nor if this is a terror attack.

Admit to Him that you are a sinner in need of forgiveness, that you are truly sorry for your sins. Acknowledge that He died for your sins, rose from the dead and lives forevermore. Invite Him into your life and to help you to turn from sin. Rejoice! You just became a Christian! Now trust in Him and get to know Him through the Bible which tells us everything we need to know and through prayer/talking to Him. He eagerly desires relationship with you.
