Two Men Survive ‘Miracle’ Plane Crash, Leaving Woman with Serious Injuries
A spokeswoman for the South Central Ambulance Service confirmed that three people had been involved in the crash, adding that an off-duty ambulance crew member had been treating the injured woman prior to the arrival of the emergency services.
“We received a call at 2:45pm concerning a crash involving a light aircraft collision with a car,” she said.
While the two pilots miraculously walked away from the scene unscathed save for a few minor injuries, the woman was airlifted to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford after suffering “serious facial injuries”.
Over 100 spectators were attending a remote controlled display at the airfield at the time of the accident, before witnessing the plane spiralling downwards into a field shortly after 3pm.
