Adam B Levine, editor of Let’s Talk Bitcoin, joins Wall St For Main St’s Mo Dawoud to discuss cryptocurrency developments, from what’s been going on with rising Chinese demand to developments related to crytocurrency’s relationship to the monetary system.  Mr. Levine addresses bitcoin’s having schedule, where every four years the number of bitcoins rewarded via “mining” is halved in order to cap the ultimate supply of issued bitcoin at approximately 21 million.

Mr. Levine believes ethereum has “ten times” the scalability problems as bitcoin, but since ethereum is not as widely in use as of yet, the scalability issues are not as pressing.  Regardless, innovations coming to bitcoin, ethereum and the use of block chain technology are evolving, and Mr. Levine discusses some of these exciting developments.
