IL: Armeed Homeowner Shoots 1, Wonds 1 of Gang of Home Invaders

PALOS PARK, IL — A homeowner fatally shot one male home invader and injured another late Tuesday night at a house near 118th Street and Will-Cook Road. Other invasion suspects fled, leading police on a pursuit into Markham where they were captured.
The homeowner holds a valid conceal carry license, the Cook County Sheriff's Department said Wednesday.
