Don’t Tread On Me – Divine Providence
The true story behind the notorious scarsdale murder. She loved him, so she shot him. Doctor Herman Tarnower, cardiologist and author of the New York Times bestseller The Complete Scarsdale Diet and his headmistress Jean Harris lead a roller coaster romance between Palm Beach and NY. He proposes marriage with a diamond ring only to break off the engagement which leads Harris into depression. Tarnower commences writing prescriptions for uppers and downers for Harris. In 1980 Harris fires 5 shots from her revolver which kills Tarnower. Harris is found guilty of murder and spends 15 years in jail.
