In an interview on late night talk show, American Sniper actor Bradley Cooper discussed his reaction to Republicans criticizing him for attending the Democratic National Convention.
“I was not expecting that,” he told The Late Late Show host James Corden.
He added, “The Republicans were up in arms that I was there watching the president speak” because he played the late Chris Kyle in the movie.
Kyle was known for his best selling biography that detailed his tours of combat and voicing conservative opinions.
Some Republicans took to social media to voice their frustrations, actions highlighted by liberal advocates.
