John Lennon: “Our society is run by insane people”
During an interview with Peter Lewis on June 6, 1968, musician John Lennon said, “Our society is run by insane people for insane… objectives.”
Lennon goes on to call out the insanity of the British, American, Chinese, and Russian governments. He says he’s been attempting to express this in different ways all of his life ever since he figured it out, but he thinks we’re being run by maniacs for maniacal means.
And, really, that about sums it up.
