A 20-year-old man was shot and killed Monday morning during an apparent break-in at a Northeast Salem home, Salem police said.
Anthony “Tony” Brown, 20, and a 17-year-old boy from Keizer were burglarizing a home in the 1500 block of Nebraska Avenue NE about 8 a.m. when the home's resident shot Brown, police said. An autopsy showed that Brown died from gunshot wounds.
