President Barack Obama has warned of the existence of Daesh sleeper cells in the US and says the possibility of further terrorist attacks in the country is real.
Obama made the remarks during a presser, focused on fighting ISIL, at the Pentagon on Thursday. He added that the US approach to the terrorists needs improvement. Elsewhere in his remarks, Obama took a jab at Russia saying Moscow has so far failed to show seriousness in the fight against Daesh. The US says it has launched many airstrikes against Daesh in Iraq and Syria; however critics say the attacks have largely been ineffective and many civilians have fallen victim to the air raids.
