(Before It's News)

While covering the news out of Milwaukee, one network presented a story which some say wasn’t exactly accurate. In fact, some accused the network of media bias and straight-up deception.

In an emotional piece (which has since been edited), CNN shared with readers the story of residents trying to heal following massive rioting in the city that started after police shot and killed Sylville Smith when he refused to drop a gun. The news network even shared some words from Sherelle Smith, the man’s sister.

Smith’s sister Sherelle Smith condemned the violence, saying the community needs the businesses affected. “Don’t bring that violence here,” Neal, his other sister, said while sobbing.

CNN included a short clip of the emotional pleas from Smith, who was previously misidentified as Kimberly Neal.

But then video surfaced of the entire speech, and it was a bit different from what was presented by CNN. But don’t take our word for it.

As it turned out, Smith wasn’t asking for peace, she was asking for peace in their neighborhoods and around their businesses, but everything outside of that – namely the suburbs – appeared to be fair game.
