Walt Disney. The true story of a boy who built a kingdom. Based on the book “Walt Before Mickey” covers the early years of Walt Disney’s career. I was once told that you are not a true entrepreneur if you haven’t gone bankrupt at least once! Well Walt Disney shows us how its done, he was fired by a newspaper editor because “he lacked imagination and had no good ideas.” He went bankrupt several times before he built Disneyland. In fact, the proposed park was rejected by the city of Anaheim on the grounds that it would only attract riffraff.
