Why do topless women sell t-shirts???
I’ve seen many silly things in my day, but women marching topless in order to demand bare-chest equality? Today, the brilliant minds behind WWW.GOTOPLESS.ORG let a NYC parade (of sorts) with topless women demanding the right to go shirtless in public, the same as men. Or, they claim, men should have to stop going shirtless as well. Maybe they have a point. I don’t know. I’ve seen many guys, including myself, who should not be seen in public without a shirt. And I doubt too many guys will complain about bare boobies. It makes sense, sort of, but I’m old school and it seems rather wrong somehow. I mean, seriously, how many women out there would run about topless even if it was legal? Which it’s not. So where was NYC Police?
Well anyway, to my point — I went to their website to see what all the hooplah was about and was amused to discover the group sales t-shirts. Isn’t that sort of contrary to their whole agenda? I want to go topless, but I’m gonna sell t-shirts. I was not surprised really. Anything for a dollar these days. You’d think they would have found something less oppositionaly to sell. I mean, isn’t this comparable to anti-gun groups selling target posters?
