Assuming that many privates and generals have complicated, often highly critical feelings about given crises of war-making, why don’t they ever express them publicly?

Most military men and women are unfortunately there because they are knuckle draggers and clearly not too bright. How else could you go into a country like Iraq and murder millions of innocent lives. Idiots, cowards, and traitors.
