Don’t try to sleep in on a Saturday morning in fracking country. A few minutes before 7 am this morning a 5.6 magnitude earthquake hit Oklahoma; 8 miles Northeast of Pawnee, 73 miles North of Oklahoma City. The quake was felt states away, even an airport in Houston, TX reported feeling it.
An unusual observation is what showed up on radar when the earthquake struck. Returns look like light showers, but no…those are birds! Birds taking off to get out of there!
News 9 says they will upload a video of the radar sequence. I’ll add it when it’s available.
