Is this real life, or is this just digital fantasy?
That is the subject matter of this episode with the brilliant NanoGirl leading the way by asking whether or not we are living in some kind of simulation?
This is no new idea, its been around in science for some time now. However, as the weeks pass by, more and more stories & revelations are coming out that leads us to question just what we are, where we are & why we are!
Philosophers dating back to the 16th century, notably René Descartes, have suggested we cannot rely on our sense experiences to perceive the world.
Is Hillary the first CGI presidential candidate? With so many videos going around the net showing glitches in Hillary’s latest appearances, we ask is we are looking at the “real” Hillary, of some kind of digital avatar!
ELON MUSK’S TAKE ON SIMULATED REALITY
The man behind SpaceX, Elon Musk, has often had to address the whole “simulation hypothesis“. In the video below you will hear him talk about the advancements in computer games, from the basic “pong” to modern day games that are “indistinguishable from reality”.
So, what do you think? Could it be that all of this is nothing more than a rendered reality from an advanced civilzation? Are we living within a digital matrix style simulation?
Perhaps, and i appreciate how controversial this next idea may be, when Adam & Eve were cast out of the garden of Eden, it was into a digital construct put together by The Creator! It even says in the bible that when they were cast out they were given “garments made from skin”… Could this mean they were given bodies to act as vehicles within this reality? Was the bible talking about a biological avatar of sorts?
Like I said, this is probable quite controversial to even suggest, however its just one of the ideas spinning around in my mind after this mind blowing discussion with NanoGirl & Johnny Whistles.
Furthermore, this would make “glitches” such as the frustrating Mandela Effects easier to comprehend, it could be that we are now reaching the level of technology within the simulation to actually hack it & re-write it.
