The Lower Macungie Middle School in Lower Macungie Township, Pennsylvania, was placed on lockdown Wednesday after the discovery of an empty shell casing on campus.
State Police were called in after a thorough investigation determined that there was no immediate threat to students or staff. The lockdown was lifted just in time for students to be dismissed for the day.
