One shot, one kill. That’s a popular saying we often hear when talking about snipers.
But a Special Air Service sniper from the United Kingdom just took it to the next level.
When ISIS terrorists were preparing to incinerate several hostages alive, an SAS sniper knew he had just moments to save their lives.
From over 1,640 yards (just short of a mile) the marksman took a single shot with a .50 caliber rifle:
One of the men, who is understood to have regularly burnt prisoners alive, had been on British and US special forces kill list for months.
A source told The Daily Star that up to 12 civilians – eight men and four women – were going to be murdered in the planned terrorist attack.
The victims were reportedly tied to stakes or trapped in cages before the expected execution.
…
“The executioner gave some sort of rambling speech over a loud hailer then when he finished the SAS sniper opened fire.
“The bullet struck the fuel container and it exploded immediately. He was incinerated and several of his henchmen were also killed.”
It is understood that special forces in Syria had been targeting the terrorist for months.
It is understood the attack took place in a small village close to the town of Raqqa in Northern Syria, after special forces were tipped off by a Syrian CIA agent to the terrorist’s whereabouts.
The sniper, who used a Barrett .50, killed the terrorist along with the other three men who were reportedly at the scene to film the planned execution.
It is understood the terrorist group had been travelling around ISIS hotspots to slaughter civilians, targeting those the terrorist group said were enemy agents.
