Scary: Was This Man Possessed by Pokémon Go?
Cell phone footage of a man freaking out playing Pokémon Go has gone viral with people calling him “possessed” and not in a super nerd fanboy kind of way.
Four men in the Bank of Brazil in Rio Grande do Norte had to restrain this guy on the ground as he shouted “Pokémon! Pokémon!” over and over, getting louder and louder and scaring other bank customers.
Police later showed up and arrested the man. According to the UK Mirror, he allegedly told officers afterward that he was waiting in line at the bank when he, “suddenly had ‘strange thoughts and lost control’.” The man was not reportedly intoxicated at the time.
So… what the hell is going on here?
