(Before It's News)

Ian with Forgotten Weapons shows off a very nice DWM 1902 Carbine, complete with its distinctive 11.75-inch barrel and checkered walnut shoulder stock.

Popular in the early part of the 20th Century, shoulder-stocked pistols were common and most early military models including the Browning Hi-Power, Mauser C96 and some early Colts among others came with options to add a wooden holster/stock to the grip. The 7.65mm (.30 Luger) carbine that Ian is showing off– from about 1904– however, was always meant to be a handy short-barreled rifle and came with adjustable sights graduated to 300-meters, sling swivels, and a Schnabel tip forearm.
