Cane gun, other curios pop up at gun ‘buy back’ (VIDEO)

San Diego Police shoveled out Wal-Mart gift cards between $50 and $100 each for a total of 48 guns handed over in Palm City over the weekend, and garnered some interesting NFA items.
Among the haul of 22 handguns, 16 rifles and 10 shotguns were what CBS8 described as “an antique Winchester, a fully automatic rifle, two sawed-off shotguns and two handguns with their serial numbers filed off. ”
The above video details one of the shotties– a whippet style bolt-action gun– and shows what looks to be a heavily patina-ed 1892 Winnie as well as some gratuitous shots of the cane gun.
While cane guns are not illegal, and the one turned in at the event looked to be an old C&R Remington, they do fall into Title II Any Other Weapon categories and having a modern one without the proper NFA paperwork is kinda frowned up, especially in California.
