LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) — West Virginia State Police said Monday that for now they won't be charging the man who allegedly shot and killed the person breaking into his home.
John Ellis, 49, was shot and killed about 4 a.m. Sunday morning. Troopers say he was trying to break into a home on Stable Branch Road and threaten the resident.
