Halloween is the only purely Pagan holiday that has remained free from the corrupting influence of Christianity (although the Catholic Church tried to thwart its influence with “All Saints Day” and failed epically). Ultimately, it’s a fun—and my personal favorite—holiday.
“Saturnalia” ends on December 23rd. Christmas season/celebration starts on December 25th and ends on Feb 2. The Catholic Church did not “take over” that pagan holiday, nor any other.
There is no celebrating on the eve of a holy day, so Catholics do not celebrate halloween. The celebration is on the first. And special remembrance lasts the entire month.
There’s one thing for sure, Hitlery Clingon will be throwing her fat legs across the nearest broom stick and taking to the skies on the 31st, so even if we don’t see the northern lights or a meteor shower, you may at least get to see an ugly old hag zooming past and scaring the shit out of all the bats………..
Every day is Halloween in “Tinsiltown” (Hollywierd) !!!
