A man was shot while attempting to rob a tobacco store at gunpoint on Thursday evening in Garfield, New Jersey.
During the hold-up at the Tobacco Road store on River Drive, the man was shot in the leg. A worker was thought to have fired his weapon in defense. Police are investigating further.
This story speaks to the value of being armed when your life or business is being threatened. An attempted robbery was thwarted, and lives could have been saved, all because an individuals decided that he or she was not going to be a victim.
When politicians, such as Hillary Clinton, say that the “right to bear arms” only pertains to police and military, are they saying that stores should be okay with being a victim to robberies such as these?
