In 2013 we reported that Arizona’s disgrace John McCain was so fond of “rock star” Hillary Clinton and thought so highly of the “fine job” she did as Secretary of State, that he said it would be a “tough choice” between supporting the liberal snake oil saleswoman who orchestrated the shameful Benghazi deception and conservative U.S. Sen. Rand Paul in 2016.
Fast forward and the dynamic has changed. Sen. Paul’s presidential bid is a fleeting memory and Hillary the “rock star” isn’t quite as fond of her octogenarian fan McCain — now running for another 6-year senate term, as she is the Democrat’s presidential nominee.
According to McCain’s desperation emails, the rift has taken on major proportions. He writes:
Did you see the news today? It’s not good. Hillary’s campaign is refocusing their attention on Arizona – which means millions are about to be poured into our state to ensure she and the entire Democrat down ballot ticket win on November 8th.
He needs our help to “fight back, and fight back FAST.”
“Friend,” he pleads, “I won’t lie – this is really bad news. The more money that floods into Arizona by the Democrats, the closer this race could get.” He even admits the romance is over with these telling words: “Hillary is eyeing a Democrat majority and I know she would love to see my campaign defeated.”
Ouch!
Since both Hillary Clinton and John McCain are longtime beneficiaries of the mega funds radical anti-American billionaire George Soros shovels into pushing left-wing candidates, it would be interesting to know if Soros is now undercutting McCain as he’s underwriting Hillary. There is no honor among thieves.
If true, it would be a fitting and proper page from McCain’s own playbook, as he pulled his lukewarm support from Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. What goes around, comes around.
