Don’t Mistake Your Self for the Ego That Pretends to Be You

There is no better teacher than yourself.
Observe yourself. Know yourself, and you will know all others as well, for all others exist within you, as you.
Quiet the mind’s anxious energy to seek cause and to place blame. See your reflection in everyone you see and within everything you do. Know that it’s all you. Every reaction, a reflection of your desires. Every desire, a reflection of your fears.
We are all driven by the same essence, by the same Self, which is simply the same undeniable will to peacefully and lovingly Be.
Don’t mistake your Self for the ego that pretends to be you. One is true, while the other is false. Ignore the mind’s vociferous objections.
Abide only in that which is real; absolute, undistracted Awareness.
Dwell no more within the cantankerous caverns of the always-reaching mind; it only wants to divide your Self from the totality that is here and now, which is the beauty of reality and the non-duality of Life.
