SETI Tells World To Prepare For Alien Invasion As Humanity Currently Wouldn’t Stand A Chance!

Sean Martin for the Express reports, HUMANITY is woefully unprepared in case of an alien invasion, the man who is leading the search for extra-terrestrials has claimed. Seth Shostak, senior astronomer at the Search for Extra-terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) which is leading the charge in the search for alien life, says that there is no plan if aliens decide to visit Earth.

Seth Shostak, senior astronomer at the Search for Extra-terrestrial Intelligence (SETI) which happens to be leading the charge in the hunt for alien life, suggests that there is no strategy if aliens choose to pay a visit to Earth.

Mr. Shostak put the US government on front street for not choosing an interest in SETI’s objective and likened the world’s current response protocol to aliens as if neanderthals were to connect with the US Air Force.

Conversing to Live Science, Mr Shostak stated: “As far as I know, there’s nothing, and I think I would have heard something because of the [SETI] false alarms.

“Some people asked me at a conference last week, ‘What plan does the military have to deal with aliens should they land?’ And I said, ‘I don’t know … but to the best of my knowledge, they don’t have a plan.’

“It would be like the Neanderthals having a plan in case the US Air Force showed up.”

Mr. Shostak additionally ignored the idea of ‘Men in Black’ – a conspiracy theory that there are government characters who handle alien and UFO investigations.

He ridiculed: “If [the government] could afford the ‘Men in Black,’ then they could afford to support SETI.

“It’s not a government program, so they have nothing to do with it. I would love to see some interest from them, but I never have.”

SETI has had quite a few ‘false alarms’ over the years, with the most well known coming in 1997 which experts thought was the real deal, even though it later ended up to be a transmission from a European satellite.

Nevertheless, even when it was thought that aliens had at long last made contact, there was still no attention attributed by the U.S. Government.

He mentioned: “In 1997, we got a signal that looked pretty promising for most of the day. We thought it was possibly the real deal.

“I kept waiting for the ‘Men in Black’ to show up – they didn’t. I kept waiting for the Pentagon to call. I kept waiting for the White House to call. They didn’t call. But The New York Times called.”
