Single White Female: Social Media Stalker Follows Instagram Star Around the World Copying Herself in All the Exact Same Poses
Here’s a bit of news of the weird.
In the new age of social media, some people have broken out as Instagram stars the same way some people go viral and gain a huge YouTube following.
One such person, Lauren Bullen, travels around the world snapping artistic photos of herself at exotic locations and calls it work. Cool job, eh?
Well, another girl apparently thought so, because she’s been (for lack of a better word) stalking Bullen around the globe, posing in the same exact spots in the same poses and in many cases even wearing the same or very similar outfits and accessories while doing it.
In the pictures below, Bullen is on the left. Look at this creepiness. It gives the phrase “Get a life!” a whole new meaning.
There are a whole lot more examples where that came from. In many cases, the copy artist named “Diana” even stole Bullen’s taglines verbatim off the photos for her versions.
While imitation has been called the sincerest form of flattery… knowing you have a Single White Female-level stalker following you around the globe copying you to that minute level — essentially living your life — has got to be pretty creepy. Just think about the level of sophistication, time, effort, and money it is taking this girl to be this completely unoriginal…
And I thought it was kind of weird when a friend of mine in 9th grade bought the same exact coat and shoes as me because she thought I looked “cool”.
