This isn’t some bar code, and it’s not a chip, this goes beyond and it’s even more insane.
The current extent of one’s credit score rating is already bad enough in terms of its ability to destroy one’s livelihood in many respects. Having a bad credit rating can already potentially bar people from many types of employment, the ability to find housing, and many other aspects of life. I have no doubt it will only become worse as the years progress, and it really wouldn’t surprise me to see the reinstatement of debtor’s prisons during my lifetime.
