The reference to “mastricht” is a bit challenging. Although there is a Netherlands city called “Maastricht” (A city of southeast Netherlands near the Belgian border. Founded on the site of a Roman settlement, it has long been a strategic frontier outpost.). There is a Petrus van Mastricht, “a Reformed theologian… born in Cologne to a refugee from Maastricht during the Dutch revolt.” We shall see what this means.
I like the first line, though. The butterfly speaks to “major transformation” from ground based caterpillar to the “flying butterfly”.
