We don’t need a Trump-nominated supreme Court justice. We desperately don’t need such a person. And there is no reason to have one.

The difference here, is that the author believes in rule of law, which is partisan and political rather than rule of principal according to the constitutionally agreed methods. Obviously has great difficulty in understanding what being an American living in a republic actually is, which in the United States of America means law is subject to the elective process rather than visa versa.
