The U.N. Security Council was again set to vote Friday afternoon on a highly charged resolution demanding an end to Israeli settlements, with the U.S. reportedly poised to abstain and brush aside a rare intervention by president-elect Donald Trumpwho initially pressured Egypt to withdraw the measure.
