A United Nations Security Council resolution passed Friday condemned Israeli annexation of Palestinian land and Israeli squatting on it but did not specify any particular punishment for Israel. Instead, the UNSC has made the lives of Iranians, Iraqis, and North Koreans miserable through sanctions.
